Utter Laziness

So I have no idea when I will get around to writing up the sessions of our DND game up here. I am just too lazy to go through the entire sessions if they take as long as the first round of combat that I posted. I might as well just  write a book about the adventures, since it takes that much space.
So as I said before, I have no idea when they will be put up here if ever. Maybe if I suddenly get some inspiration I will put it up here, but until then, I'll just post my random thoughts as they come to me.
Our group did have our first "air encounter" during the second session. It was basically a chase on flying motorcycles, which ended in many explosions. I whipped up a system for it in about 45 minutes. It worked alright, but I need to figure out another way to do movement. Moving around on a board is hard enough when people are moving 6 squares in any direction, its much more difficult to move straight forward at 8 or 12 squares every move. It quickly took up a lot of space. I've been trying to think of a way to fix up the system. The first thing will be more tuning on the maneuvering, and probably toning the movement down to 1 square where it used to take 4. That might help a bit, but there is still the manner of maneuvering. I thought I had a good idea where the characters could shift gears to increase speed, which made them harder to hit while making it harder for them to control the "airbikes." That worked out somewhat well. The turning was more difficult though. How do you figure turning when you are moving fast speeds and not slowing down. Its difficult enough to make curves with squares, but I might try that. I'll have to figure it out later though, as this post is getting to a decent length and I need to look like I'm doing work on something.
