I am in an awesome mood and I have no idea why.

Anyway, Ohio's weather is so weird. I was sitting in diffeq, and it is sunny and breezy and just plain wonderful outside. Then it starts sprinkling. A few of the people in the class curse and everyone gets a little less happy then they were before. They the rain starts picking up, until it is absolutely storming outside. For about 20-30 seconds.

Suddenly, it stops.  The world goes back to how it was. It is sunny and breezy outside again. It looks like nothing ever happened.

I think mother nature had a seizure...

Reddit has taken me.

So I thought reddit was for people that were bored. People that had nothing else to do, or needed a source to procrastinate. I learned 2 things from browsing reddit last night.

1: The above statement is in every way possible completely true. If you are bored or need to procrastinate then get on reddit. However, if you have homework due in 2 hours that you haven't started yet, FOR THE LOVE OF WHATEVER GOD/GODS/FLYING SPAGGHETI MONSTERS YOU WORSHIP, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM REDDIT!!! It will make you fail

2: It is also for intellectual people that actually think during their daily lives. I got on there (askreddit to be specific) and there are some very interesting views and questions, and less trolls than I imagined.

If you haven't been to reddit, try it out. It is pretty interesting and you can find most anything on there.

That is all. Good day!

So I wanted to get on here and write about something or another and then something strange. The moment I came over to the website, I lost all creativity and couldn't think of anything interesting or original to talk about. Its like it was just sucked out of me, and now it is taunting me. So I'm gonna to talk about the first thing I see....
Which is the rain.

The stupid fucking rain.

So in Ohio, the weather is, in simple terms, retarded. It can't decide what it wants to be, how hot it should be, or what season it might be today. Alas, it has been raining pretty constantly for the last few weeks, to the point where its ridiculous. It isn't horrible, there isn't any floods or anything, but it is so damn annoying. That might be because my personal life has made me irritable lately, but still. Why does it need to be raining so often. Gimme a week of sunshine, and then you can rain again.

So that's my rant for the day. Its not very long, but blame that on the creativity-sucking that is apparently the internet. I'm gonna go kill zombies before I have to go to work. See ya next time!

NS: You have no chance to survive make your time.

1: Its been quite a while.

So I once had the idea of making a blog and posting on it all the time, hopefully getting a following and eventually still do nothing spectacular with it. But every once in a while I would stop getting on completely, for months at a time, then get back on after all those months and post every week or so. Then it would happen again. So I would challenge myself to get on here more often and post, but I don't I would complete that challenge. Onto the second order of business...

2: Freaking ninja spiders live in my laptop!!!!

So I was listening to music on my laptop about 5 minutes ago when a spider walks out from behind it and starts climbing all over my desk clutter. That's alright, so I try shooing it away with a coaster. It walks behind my laptop, so I close my laptop to make sure it got off my desk, and it is completely gone. I swear the spider climbed inside of my laptop and then went on his own tiny-spider-laptop and started reading tiny-spider-cracked articles about different kinds of humans and how violent they are towards spiders.

Then, moments later when I started writing this (I feel like I'm almost writing in real-time) I start explaining the ninja spider phenomenon to my roommate and another ninja spider appears next to my desk, just chillin'. Bothered by the first ninja spider incident moments before, I leap into spider slaughter mode, grabbing the first bulky paper product I can find (Thanks GE) and start swatting away. After a few swipes, the spider is nowhere to be seen. No guts on the paper, no spidery-corpse or grave anywhere nearby, and the damn spider is probably hangin' out with his buddy spider in his new crib i.e. my laptop!

Moral of the story: All your base are belong to Ninja Spiders!

Disclaimer:
I don't hate spiders. Especially if they are little and stay the hell away from me. However, when they are HUGE (relatively, about the size of a d20), they bother me quite a bit. When they are living inside of my laptop, which I spent most of the time either using or lugging around, the bother me exponentially more.

Woot!

I got a job at Tim Hortons! Not the perfect job for an aspiring engineer, but it is money. So maybe my summer won't be as boring after all, and it only took 2 weeks.

Thats really the only "woot" thing that I have to say. I spent the entire weekend at my brother's house playing Final Fantasy, watching "MAN MOVIES", and eating ice cream. Although I did learn that I can eat 8 standard bowls of ice cream and only gain a very minor stomach-ache!
...
...
I can't believe I actually just wrote that. Its totally true though. I really do need something interesting to talk about on here though. I am quite lacking in my own subjects. So I am hiring all of you (with an awesome salary of nothing) to post suggestions in the comments. I'll talk about pretty much anything, including but not limited to:
applesauce
monkey wars
giant gerbils
small gerbils
medium-sized gerbils
cell phones
fail-rapture
antidisestablishmentarianism
and anything else!

The Summer Blues

So another week of the summer has (almost) gone by, and still no job. I had an interview, however, so thats something. Sadly, the manager wasn't in that day, nor today when I tried to contact them, so the interview has produced nothing. Which leaves me with no job still. I've put in lots of applications, but even if a place claims that it is hiring, and I turn in the application, no one seems to look at the applications. I've called numerous places after turning in an application, and they still haven't seen it. This is over a week for some of these places. If I was looking to hire someone, I would at least put some interest into the people that want to be hired. But maybe thats too much to ask. I don't know. All I know is that it sucks.

Yesterday I went to the band concert/awards for my little brother, who is currently a junior. I do miss being in band (after being in it for 7 years and marching/pep/jazz band for 4 years) but I didn't feel like I'm missing a part of myself. I enjoyed band, but not because of the music or the contests. I enjoyed it because of the people. All of my closest friends from high school are my band friends, and that is what I really loved from band. The feeling of being a family was the greatest part (also the most cliche).
I've been playing Runes of Magic basically every night since summer started, as I did last summer. I like the game, and I'm now in a guild so I'm making a few online friends. The game isn't so amazing that I have to play every night, but it gives me something to do when I'm chilling at home with nothing to do.

I think that is the worst part of the summer, even more so than the horrible job-hunting. Having nothing to do is nice for a short while, but it is killer when it lasts a while. At school I had enough to do that I could spend weekends just relaxing, but now I have so much more time and not very much to fill it. I wish I could start playing in a D&D campaign again, because it gives me something to do, I get to see my friends on a regular basis, and it is by far my favorite hobby. (Hurry up with the campaign, you know who you are).

Running a campaign was an interesting idea, and I learned a few things that work while running it. I think the "improv" aspect of the npc's and interactions went well, as did the freedom that was given to the players. I put them in a place, and they screwed things up. Its a good time. Having an interesting world also helps a lot, since I could make thinks up on the fly because the world had didn't have defined rules. Keeping the pc's alive didn't work. I should have killed them. A lot. Possibly every session with how they were going. I was too soft, and I'll remember that next time. Although I'll try not to flip to the complete other side and become DM McMurder. Although that would be exciting too [insert villainous laugh here].

Dream blogging

So it appears I completely dreamed the blog post that I added yesterday, since it no longer exists. As a small summary, I said that I have nothing to talk about and that enjoying a college class makes the class easier.
Speaking of college classes, I got my grade report for my second semester, with a 3.57 GPA for the semester and 3.3-3.4 ish for my cumulative, although I don't remember the exact number. So I'm very happy with those grades. I'm not sure how it got that high, but I'm not complaining.
Thats really all I have to say today, just sad my other post doesn't exist. See you all next time. In the mean time, keep being awesome!

Edit: Interesting enough, my blog post is now showing. I am so confused....
